Description
Theme:
As followers of God, what is our responsibility to care for creation?
Synopsis:
This is a man-on-the-street documentary which asks passersby, "What is mankind's responsibility to care for the Earth?"
Rather than show the people-subjects of the interviews, we elect to show actual nature footage, the theoretical subject of our interviews.
Most people reflect a distinct need to care for the Earth, even if merely for purposes of self-preservation.
When asked the deeper questions of why, many people are at a loss to uncover a deeper, spiritual component to their environmental care.
(music by The Aviation Museum)
Conversation:
What is mankind's responsibility to care for the Earth?
Should a Christian person's response to this question differ from someone outside the faith? Why? / Why not?
What is the connection between our care for the Earth now, and the job(s) given to man in the garden of Eden?
How long will the Earth exist? Is there a Biblical theology that answers such a question?
Where is the common ground between Christ-followers and environmentalists?
Why should a Christian be 'green?'
