Synopsis:

• Heidi articulates with great wisdom and peace about living with the focus on Jesus in the midst of a life-threatening bone marrow failure disease.  
• With the picturesque ocean background, Heidi shares succinctly that when first diagnosed she wondered if simple mealtime pleasures with her family would be her last, but that the Lord clearly spoke to her heart that she was responsible for today and that she has chosen to “go live”.
• Wise beyond her years, Heidi shares that we are called to bring Him glory and for some it’s to have wealth and joy and others are allowed to face darkness in their individual journeys. For her, the decision was simple – that if she focused on what she may miss out on, she would miss living today.
• She speaks with confidence that Christ is always there for her and that if one person comes to Christ because of her ordeal, it’s worth it.
• Particularly poignant is the clarity of Heidi’s position. She is certain that there is no hope apart from Christ and that He never leaves or forsakes her.
• The video opens with Philippians 1:20 superimposed on the screen and Heidi reads later in the video. The closing frame is an encouragement to “Be bold for Christ”.
