Includes titled and untitled versions

    Synopsis:

  • A recreation of a Jewish Passover meal is presented in low light.
  • Candles, incense, bread, herbs, olives, and wine adorn the table.
  • Slow motion and panning camera creates a somber, meditative mood.
  • A pair of hands breaks pieces of bread off a larger loaf and drops them into a bowl.
  • Wine is poured from a large carafe into a chalice, lit from behind with bright white.
  • Scripture text (in titled version) overlays:
  • Matthew 26:18 - He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’”
  • Luke 22:15-16 - And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer...For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”
  • Luke 22:19 - And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
  • Luke 22:20 - In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."
  • Matthew 26:24 - The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him.
