Description

Main Point: Miracles are all around us – but most people don’t see them.

Synopsis:

  • Several people out and about at a farmer’s market are asked questions about the nature of miracles – and their answers reveal that they take much of life for granted and don’t see the Divine intervention all around us.
  • Some people can’t even define a miracle – others define it as something good that happens –that’s out of the ordinary.
  • When asked if they believe in miracles, several answer with an unequivocal “No”. A father is challenged whether he consider his baby a miracle.
  • One woman considers anything good –including her Mocha a miracle. Another believes that miracles are conjured up from within. A couple believes that miracles aren’t logical – seeing is believing.
  • A teen with a logo on his shirt that reads “Devil Inside” says that Jesus performed miracles to prove he was the Son of God—would need to see miracles to believe.
  • A skeptical 68 year-old man says that a miracle would have to defy the law of physics.
  • Another young man, bearing witness to Christ, says that he doesn’t need to miracle to believe in God.
  • A text question poses an invitation at the end: New Life?
  • Popping sound effects type music in background, utilization of close-ups and extreme close ups. Pictures are framed in vertical blind effect and boxes in places.

Application:
