• A filmmaker—still impacted by his parents’ divorce when he was nine years old, finds joy in learning that his parents once loved each other.

• Video opens with stills of a wedding as the narrator shares that his parents wedding pictures captivated him because although they divorced, their actual wedding day belonged to he and his brother as they were products of their union.
• His grandfather has captured his father’s childhood on an 8-millimeter camera – his father had not captured his but his uncle allowed him to go through his collection.
• It was there that he was reacquainted with the small child he had long since forgotten—and by chance that he say footage of his grandparents’ 40^th anniversary where his dad holds his mother.
• Although it was a quick gesture it proved to be a validation, something of great meaning to see his parents as a couple—allowing him to bask in the innocence of a forgotten time.
• This video strikes a chord—divorce impacts children more than our society acknowledges.
