Theme: The gift of salvation is simple and we need to have childlike faith as we enter the Christmas season.

Synopsis:

• As the singer sings soulfully of what the Christ child has done for him, we are reminded of the sweet heart of a child as she colors a picture for her mother.
• Video focuses on Christmas-season time in a home as a tree with lights and presents are next to a child working on a picture for her mother.
• There’s a sense that the little girl has it right. She is truly giving from her heart and she bestows her homemade gift upon her mother who is working at a desk
• There are breakaway scenes to city life and the city skyline as well as images of the grandeur of the heavens. Filmmakers deliberately use out of focus shots for effect in places—has a professional film look.

Conversation:

• Like the little girl, we have nothing to give the Lord except ourselves. Somehow as we grow up, we allow our lives to be more complicated.
• Jesus doesn’t want our stuff—He wants our hearts and our significant relationships should reflect giving of ourselves rather than trying to buy affection.
• Christmas is a time to regroup—settle in to the reality that Jesus Christ is Lord.
